Line boil for your SVG logo
Animators call it line boil: a drawing traced again a few times a second, so its lines seem to simmer. They have done it for about a hundred years.
How Boil does it
Boil draws your SVG three times, each copy slightly different, and plays them in a loop. There is no timeline and no keyframes. It is not AI. Boil moves the drawing with thirty lines of math and a fixed random seed, so the same file always gives the same result, and nothing is uploaded.
Make only some lines move
Each line, group or layer can have its own motion, or none. Boil, Wobble, Flow, Swing, Glitch and Sparkle are six of them. Pick Still, or set a line's intensity to zero, and that part does not move.
Export
GIF, APNG, MP4 and PNG are free, with a small "made with boil.brint.dev" line in the corner that you can turn off. Lottie, for Framer, Webflow, React Native, iOS and Android, and animated SVG are a one-time $29, tax included, on up to 3 devices. There is no subscription, and you are never charged per export. The loop repeats with no jump, so a GIF loops smoothly and a Lottie needs no fixing.
Your files stay on your device
No sign-up. Your files stay on your device, and nothing is uploaded. It works in any browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iPad, iPhone and Android. Nothing to install.
Questions
Is line boil the same as a wiggle?
Close. Boil redraws your lines a few slightly different times and loops them, so they simmer instead of sliding around.
Can I export line boil as Lottie?
Yes, for a one-time $29. GIF, APNG and MP4 are free.
Does it work on a PNG logo?
No, Boil needs an SVG.
Will the loop jump?
No, it repeats with no jump, so a GIF loops smoothly and a Lottie needs no fixing.
Is it AI?
No. Same file, same result, nothing uploaded.
